I seem to have one of my female guppy's constantly swimming vertically. It's been like it for about a week and now I'm starting to panic. Originally I just assumed it was eating from the tank floor, as it had taken a particular interest in the algae wafers I was feeding my bristle nose. My only guess is something to do with it's swim bladder or such, but clueless on how to solve it. It did take a big nip over a month ago from a female betta and lost some of its tail, and the offending betta was moved to another tank, but it show no problems until now.

Please help as this is one of my breeders and I'm pretty keen on not losing it.

It probably has something to do with the swim bladder.
I've heard feeding peas for a few days can help... if not... I suppose you'll have to put the fish down, dont let it suffer.

Swim bladder problems usually show up as a fish that cannot swim except to be actively trying to swim. They sink to the bottom if they stop actively swimming and struggle to get to the water surface.
A head standing appearance is often nothing more than a learned response to finding food on the bottom that they liked. If you feed algae wafers, the fish will learn to search the bottom for food and pick at anything on the bottom that isn't the gravel itself. I would keep an eye on your fish but not worry too much if it can still swim properly when it wants to.
