a boiled blanched shelled pea is good for your betta every couple of weeks to keep the digestive tract going but not every day feed sparingly

Hi sailornight6 :)

I feed my kuhlis (and otos) blanched zucchini, lettuce, kale, and butternut squash. Sometimes the corys pick at the vegetables, but it's not an important part of their diet. It's best to make sure they have flake food, meaty food such as blackworms or bloodworms, and a little spirulina disc or Hikari bottom feeder wafer once in a while.

Here's a picture of some of my kuhli loaches checking out a piece of butternut squash:

what kind of cories are those?

Hi sailornight6 :)

The cory on the left is C. metae (skunk cory), the one in the center is a C. caudimaculatus, and the one partway hidden by the squash is a C. duplicareus.

Of the three, the C. metae is the one most often found at the lfs. At 2" fully grown, it's a popular cory. :D
