What veggies do you feed your fish? :/

So far, I have only fed mine peas. Any particular suggestions for these fish would be great...Plecs, Otos, Rams, Angels, Honey Gouramies and Blood Parrots. :p

Thanks,
Trevo

Peas, Cucumber, lettuce. I have seen brocoli and oranges in a few of the tanks ayt my local petsmart. Not sure I would try the oranges for some reason.

i feed peas, cucumber, lettuce, zuchinni....i hear sweet potatoe is also good, but am yet to try it

I'm getting some platies soon, any suggestions on what veg for them? also how do you give it to them?

All my fish go crazy for cucumber - I peel it in case of any wax/pesticides on the skin and just chuck it in. Otos, livebearers, barbs, cichlids - everyone loves it! I've never had to take any out the tank - it's always completely gone within 24 hours!

wow lol that sounds so kool!

I can't remember where i read it but i read that you can puree veggies and then put them in an ice cube tray to freeze, then pop one in the tank every so often. Will this work? and if so what can I puree for them?

i agree that cucumber and peas are by far the veggies that are liked most by all of my fishies....the snails like romaine lettuce :)

Platys will eat cucumber. You need to dunk it in hot water then straight into cold. Then get a knife and scrape/cut little dents into the top of the slice. They love cucumber, but they have a hard time "biting" off chunks, so they need to have some ready scraped parts to get started on.
