I recently bought a dozen leapord danios, they share a tank with opaline gourami, bosemani and banded rainbowfish, zebra and yoyo loach. Every morning, I have 1 less danio, there are no remains and no signs of damage. Also no way that the fish can be leaping out as the lid is total. Any ideas? Ever heard of loaches or opaline gourami being carnivorous????

If they are dying naturally, then the rest of the fish will eat them. Opaline gourami can be a little aggressive but I doubt they are quick enough to actually kill them.

I honestly dont think they are dying naturally. PH, ammonia, nitrate all good. They feed well and are lively. Just every morning theres 1 less fish. Im so confused by it!

Any chance they could be getting into your filter? Stuck under an ornament?

DOnt have ornaments, more natural look, rocks and wood but nothing they could get stuck under. I need to do a water change 2moz so ill have a good search, check filter etc.

Same thing happened to me i had 6 now ive only got 3 and i never found any bodies
