Valliserna Jungle

Really love this! :hyper: Favourites have to be the red nose shrimp and pencilfish (ones in that 3rd pic of that last post).

You sure the hillstream loaches are going to do OK in there? IME they only last more than a few months in river set ups with a fast flow of water -_- .

So your trick to getting all this lush growth is just strong lighting and a basic liquid fert routine? Nice :)

Yep thats it.

Thanks, I love watching the Pencil Fish.
So far the Hillstream's have been ok, busy cleaning the glass. if i see any signs of stress they can go in with the Denisoni Barbs outside. That is filtered by an otter pond pump (4000LPH)

You have a peacock eel with all those small fish and shrimp?

Doesn't he eat them?

Tank looks great, BTW!

Yeah Never had a problem with him, He comes out at night and roots around in the hair grass for food. I know he ahs been out and about as there will be hair grass floating at the top, where he has dug it up.
If he eats a few cherry shrimp and fry no loss. as they breed so fast.

Oh, just double checking, you have some nice fish in there, and I'm sure it would suck if some of them got eaten!

Got any pics of your eel?

Thanks for the kind words. fish keeping is my only vice as don't drink, smoke party and all the wasteful stuff. so it leaves me to potter about with these tanks of mine.

I have transferred everything from this to a 5*4*2 now and that is coming aong nicely.
