R random919 Fish Fanatic Joined Apr 3, 2012 Messages 104 Reaction score 0 Jul 12, 2012 #2 i just have one plant in my tank. it depends where it is going to be and how big it already is. i would put a group of maybe 3 to start with and then you can split them or get more. thats the way i tend to do it when planting up my aquariums.
