Valerie and Lyle are making love faces

Yep I`m pretty sure I do  I`ll just have to house as many bettas as I can and give as much as I can to my friends.

Whats funny was when I saw a 2.5 gall my eyes almost popped out,it was way small for breeding

Not against anyone here and don't attack me OK! (LOL) since she already make a decision. LOL
Girl! you had decided to breed, I hope you have a great experience and enjoying the breeding.

I don't see this website is getting any friendlier anymore with all of you nip nip nip. I wish you guys have more positive thinking than stick to the old fashion thinker. :flex:
Here is the positive idea for you, Girl. I know you have do your research. You had a link a web to betacave.com. Great! I like that! If you can't let go all your veiltail babies bettas, you can do this as a donation to your high school of any clubs for fund raising and to sale them. I have art students club in my University did import veiltail bettas from a breeder in aquabid last year for the first time. (I wish I had breed last year else I donate all of them) They get those bettas and sale them for $5.00 each in the art fair at the University to raise money for their club. It works and all the bettas did when home to new owners from the University and people visiting. So here at least there is a way to help for fund raising with your offspring bettas if you did raise them up. It will probably in this summer.
If you still enjoying breeding later or in the future, maybe you might think to invest top betta and breed them. Who knows you might be a good betta breeder in the future. Get the best betta anyway. If you can't get one pair because of your budget, I will sellect one special pair from my babies for you next time for free if you get the vieltail breed! :D There you go girl! BREED!

Donating to a school would be a great idea if you clear it with the school first and it's a go. Does the school want to do 100's of water changes? Can they afford to feed 200 bettas? Do they have housing for such? All questions that need to be addressed before the breeding.

No one should be breeding veils, you'll never changemy mind on that, ever. Why not donate a nice pair now?

I'll nip at whoever I want :p We don't need more veils! Would you go to your animals shelter and pick out two mutts to start a breeding program? I would hope not -_-

Ohh,well yep I`ve been doing my research, and I`m thinking about who to give the male bettas to,I`ll be keeping a quite few and maybe most the females.I plan giving a female and male to my cousin because he went on to Las Vegas with my aunt uncle, his brother, grandma and he left his fish w/ no food for like 5 days ( :*) well he`s still 6 and he didnt no about the automatic fish feeders)and only one of them survived so I plan on giving maybe 2 to him.Hopefully he won`t kill them :X

What are you talking about Sorrel? I am not talking about the school taking care of the bettas or need to changing water or even feeding the betta. You totally don't know what I am talking about. It is a half day event activities in special day held in school or University. They will of course thinking about how to pack the betta in a plastic container. I know you hate people to breed veiltail and it is ok. But you have no way to telling people no to breed veiltail. People wants to do what ever they want and as long they are responsible to it. Maybe people want to try and learn how to breed and not spending big money to breed the first time. At least they want to feels how things go. Not all first time will breed successfully anyway. As for the a free pair, I know what I can do and you don't have to worried about because it is none of your business. I will give her if she is successfully breed it and if she wants to continue to breed again.

Yes I know breeding VTs aren`t exactly the way to reduce the #s of Homeless VTs but I will just have to try what I can to house all of them

Oh thanks so much :D That would be so nice,I just hope my fry turn out good ;)

Responsible breeding and veiltail cannot exist in the same sentence.

Yes it is my business as she has chosen to post about her intentions in a public domain and I will speak my opinions as they stand. If you can't afford a nice pair to start with, you can't afford to breed bettas :|
