Uv Steralizer

Hey Guys,

Just finishing up on buying all the hardware for the reef tank and the last item on the list is the UV steralizer. I plan on setting up a refrigurum (sorry for the spelling) Just curious if running it will have any detrimental effects on any macro algae which i grow in there?

Nope it wont kill the algae, depending on its flow rate it may kill the pods etc in there. You dont really want to run one all the time though, best for any infections and new additions
