hi can any one help here pls can i use a wooden branch from my pear tree in my fish tank ?

You should be able to as long as you soak it in boiling water...

I'm not sure to be honest, I'm starting a new tank soon and I'm wanting to save a quid or too so I'd also like to know!

It will probably just rot. So the answer is no

Stick with bogwoods and drift woods. Think natural. You would never find a pear tree in a freshwater biotope. Minus massive flooding of coarse
