Using Filter Media To Establish New Tank?

So Iv been given a really nice 15 gallon aquarium which I was going to use in the near future! But after receiving it I thought I'd have to go straight for it! Now I'm currently cycling my 25 litre so could I continue the cycle in that then place all the filter media into the larger tank creating an established tank to save me the hassle of a massive water change at the end or should I start over in my larger tank!!

You could do that ..however if cycle smaller tank and put in larger tank you should stock larger tank only to smaller tank capacity till larger tank can build up more.
On second thought why not chsnge to largr tank and continue cycling that with media in smaller tank.
15 gallon tank not a massive water change. If you change 50% of water should take 10-15 min.
