I recently started a 5 gallon tank to breed pond snails for my dwarf puffers and I noticed that detritus worms also thrive in the tank. I don’t mind them, and I truly have no reason to get rid of them, but I was wondering if I could use them as live food for my dwarf puffers or something similar?

Yes Dwarf Puffers will eat them. These are not the best foods for them as they do not have the "crunch" that puffers need. It will not harm them though. Small livebearers such as endlers also love them.
