for anyone who read my posts about returning fis to the LFS yesterday i went out and spent my store credit today on 3 new fish. I got a rainbow shark (black with red fins/tail) and two more oto cats
i also went tto the local walmart and bought 5 new clay pots (3 larger ones, 1 medium one , and 1 tiny one for the guppies) i got them for less than $2 in total and at the local fish store the were selling "tank safe" clay pots that would have cost me almost $20. so i bought the walmart ones and boiled them for 25min or so. and the fish have already staked their claim on the new houses along with other hiding places that were already there.
so now my 55gal tank contains:
2 guppies
2 angels
4 otocats
1 dwarf powder blue gourmais
1 rainbow shark (getting along fine with others)
(i'll post pics when i can)
i think my faimly is about complete
however i will be keeping an eye out for another pair of angels but i will wait to get just the rigth ones (i want something kinda colourful or different) maybe a blushing type or something. but the only store locally that always carries those type angels is walmart and the fish are always covered with ICK. maybe if i had a hospital tank to treat them i would get them but alas i don't and my family would freak if i wanted to buy another tank again
