Used Polyresin Ornaments

i found 2 nice-looking aquarium polyresin ornaments on ebay and was wondering how to sterilize them. can anyone give me some tips on how to go about doing it?

When I've sterilized things for our snakes (who are very sensitive to chemicals) I've put them in boiling water which has had Milton (baby bottle sterilizer) added - just reduce the temperature, leave them to soak then very thoroughly rinse them afterwards prior to using.

thisi is the link to the ebay auction. the two ornaments i'm interested in are the bamboo and pagoda ones. i contacted the seller and he told me he got them from petco a few months ago. anyone know where i can get them new?
