lol yep just a bit!


Personally no one can do anything to make pets at home look worse than it was before!

as they used to be called pet smart
they used too put there sick animals down by hitting them on the head with shovels!

Sorry too sound cruel, but not everyone understands bettas need or every fish in there aqauriums...
its hard to find a proffesional aqaurist in a place like pets at home...
and those who are proffesionals have better places too work!

Im not saying this because i want to work there, but because its true!


not all fish get the treatment they need but they are there for a max of a couple of weeks!
yes by all means write a letter but theres nothing theyll do!

our pets at home is lucky enough to have a betta breeder and he makes sure all the bettas are cared for!
but many a time i have heard him whinging about the people who he works with knowing nothing about the fish and having to move them tank to tank!!!

No point in doing what you are planning to do. Its a business, they'll just ignore everyone's complaints.

I'm sorry, but this is a gross mis understanding of how a company works. If you complain and request a response, they have to respond. I work for borough council, if we get a complaint in we have 10 working days to respond otherwise we get hammered.

I would suggest that you write a formal letter of complaint to the store manager and chase him or her up on a response. If you don't receive one and the store is still in neglecting the care of their fish, then IF they are in breech of their fish liencse, then write a formal letter to your local borough council providing evidence, and a full report of what action you have undertaken so far.

Most companies will vary on length of time given to reply to a formal complaint. But I know that in my job, we have to send out a written response in 10 days without fail.
