I have 3 angels and noticed that 2 were very protective and kind of fighting with the 3rd over the past week or 2. My black on is hanging away from the other 2 toward the top of the tank and not eating alot.
I wonder over to observe as I think I have a water quality issue but its all good and notice one of my other angels that was protective LAID EGGS.
What do I do? I don't have a spare tank and they are very protective toward the other fish protecting there eggs.
Any help would be greatly appriciated. Please hurry!!!!!!!!!!!

My fish are :
3 Med/Large Angels
6 Corydoras
2 Clown Loaches

It really depends on whether you want to try to raise them or not. If not, then you can simply vacuum them out so that you eliminate the protective nture and prevent fighting. If you had a pleco in the tank, you wouldn't have to worry as he would eat them as fast as they laid them.

If you wanted to raise them, you can just leave them to it, although i'd keep watch on the 3rd angel. If it's their first time spawning they usually dont know what to do, they'll either eat the eggs, forget about the eggs, or wait until they hatch then eat the fry. You'll just have to wait and see, usually its the 2nd-3rd spawn they get it right.

good luck :good:

Ok, Maybe I will leave it to mother nature for a few days to see what happens. I now realize why the 2 angels were picking on my black angel and bullying him. Boy was I shocked to look today to see Fish eggs and being a noobie really not knowing what to do.
