Urgent Help

I came home from work 2day and was doing my water change when i noticed the light on the heater wasnt on.ino the heater warms up and then back down but should the light go off or do i have a faulty heater ? thanks

The light is only on while the heater is actively heating. While it is off, often a few times each hour, the light is out. It had better go on and off or you would be seeing a thermostat problem.

hi, the heater light only comes on when the heater is heating, once it hits the temp set on it its stops heating and thus light goes out.

similar to light on a kettle.

most heaters have a thermostat thay when the water reaches the preset temp it turns itself off and most have a light that comes on when its heating and the light goes out when the tank is hot enough so yeah it i pretty sure is normal
