URGENT HELP NEEDED

I just came home to find my female betta's mouth covered in white cotton looking fuzz, and apparently she's been straching her back against something or it is just got something causing the scales to fall off. I just did complete water change yesterday because of here tank only being 1 gallon, I am going to do a 50 % water change now and add some aquarium salt and melafix this is all I know to do if any one has any suggestions feel free to email me, or instant message me on msn my Instant message id is gingerbread27 on yahoo it is eaglefeather74745.

i don't know if this option is valid for you, but you could try increasing the tempreature int the tank to about 80F or so. But if you've already added salt and melafix, i'm not sure what else you can do

sorry i'm no tmuch help, never dealt with cotton mouth before, hopefully someone with more expierence can reply..
