Urgent Help Needed!

Hi all, i got a betta lifespace 35 litre yesterday, decorations, thermometre ect...

when i got home i set it up with water but then when nothing really could go wrong did!!

the problem is that my trikle filter (supplied with all betta lifespace cube tanks i think) is making a huge "chug chug chug" noise but is working fine, when i squeeze the tube come from the pump it stops the chug noise. How can i fix this problem? I'm not really looking for a "take it back to the store then get a replacement" i would rather be able to fix it and save the bother!

Tie something around the tube to mimic squeezing it?

Unless you are referring to completely stopping the flow through the tube.

Also your signature is irritatingly huge.

it still flows but would that not stress out the filter?

BTW this tank is in my room so it needs to be fixed really quickly!!

Try giving it a good clean is all I can recommend. Mine sometimes makes noise when it's dirty.

i got it yesterday so i least likely asume it needs a clean (would it put presure on the filter and explode the motor if i put something around the tube) and what could i put around it?
