Hi,

At the weekend (sat) I did my water change and put some Rowas in my skimmer media chamber and yesterday when I got in from work my cabbage leather coral seems to be shriveled up a bit, the little white bits (sorry very new to corals) that normally stick out from the ends have inverted and it has like a waxy/shiny coating over it.

Any suggestions, ideas?

Jay

I believe that they get a waxy build up every so often, try pointing a powerhead at it for a couple of hours and see if it starts to shift it.

Rowa shouldn't cause a problem with the corals. Have you done water tests?

I moved the powerhead on it (not completely) last night so I hope its better when I get in.

Im glad its not the Rowa.

Water test's are all perfect.

Hmmm that rules out a bit of chemical warfare, maybe post a picture any spots on it? such as small bugs? ps the bits that stick out are polyps.

Will post a pic of it when I get in from work but last night and this morning there were no spots or bugs on it.

It might just be having a bit of a sulk. Have you moved it? Changed the lighting times?

No everything else it as it was.

I will see how it looks later when I get in and post some pictures, if it is still bad.
