Upside Down Molly Lol?

Yesterday i woke up and went downstairs.

Did my usual check on the fish, and could only spot 2 of the 3 Dalmation Molly's we had. Then horror i seen one in the corner, upside down and not moving, none of its fins were moving nor its mouth. I tried tapping gently on the glass as it was right in the corner - and usually theyd swim off, as any fish would. He didnt though.

So i told my dad we'd lost another Molly (we originally had 4, but had lost one a couple of weeks ago) and he got the net ready and i went out to uni. I came back and started talking about how im going to cycle my tank, and he said i shouldnt believe any of that rubbish, i said you shouldnt believe the pet shops rubbish because youve lost 4 tetras, 2 mollies and a pleco. He turned round and said no we didnt lose another Molly, its still alive.

I went and checked and it was swimming about normally with the others.

What the heck?

Has anyone else experienced this The Molly earlier hadnt showed and signs of life and i was certain it was dead.

Also i just went downstairs and one of the three Mollys is acting weird, he was like nodding his head, actually his whole body, pretty fast, even when swimming. None of the other two are doing that. Any ideas?

It could possibly be a swim bladder infection, which is why he is swimming funny or ending upside down. As far as cycling goes, it's a definite thing to do for a tank as bioload a fish puts out isn't washed away like in nature, nor is there heavy enough plant coverage to deal with it in a tank.
