Im upgrading my tropical tank from a 28 litre to a 60.

I'll be changing to a bigger filter

Is there a way i can use the existing filter media and water to speed up the cycle process in the new tank?

The white foam bit of media (thats changed the most) If you put some of this in with new filter media can that help cycle the tank faster at all???

Just bumping this up for my question lol.

The more media you move to the new filter, the faster it will come along if you are feeding it. You need to make sure the bacteria don't die off by supplying ammonia either artificially or from your fish.
