Hi all, well we did have the aqua one 600 for 5 weeks so gave it a good go  I'm getting the Juwel Vision 180 it's the largest tank with cabinet I can go for, also it will have an external filter: Eheim professional 2026 (still have to knock some of my fireplace out for it to fit though  ) I only live in a small 2 up & 2 down bunny hutch. Does anyone know how many gallons it holds ? and any info on the actual filter. Thanks Lisa :)

The 180 reffers to the capasity in litres!!

Fabulous setup :good: Beautiful tank and great filter (maintenence should be a dream) - you can't go wrong really.

I so want one of these tanks, I live in a flat so I was wondering about the weight, including all the water cabinet tank itself, substrate and decor its near a quarter of a tonne (272 kg). Mental.

I would love to see your photos when its up and running

Hi,

I've now got 2 Juwel Vision 180's - both running Eheim's 2026's on. The Eheim just squeezes in behind one of the doors so it's out of sight. Great tanks, and excellent filter in my opinion - have a look on Eheim's website for more info on the filter.

i started with an aqua one ufo 350 that took 5 weeks to upgrade to the Juwel Vision 180 also lol , cant wait till the juwels cycled

So whats the deal with you people over in the UK? You guys don't have like generic tanks? I always see you guys talking about Jewel, Rio, Aqua and so on tanks, and these are freaking expensive. For what most of you guys are paying for these 40 or so odd gallon tanks, I could get a 125 with everything; hood, filter(s), heater(s), and all the tank decorations and fish stocking. It's really quite rediculous IMO what you guys are paying........

FYI its a F$&*K site more expensive to live over here so thats why things cost more !

Virtually all consumer goods cost in £ what you guys pay in $ - which makes most things almost twice the price - just a fact of life!

Also, generic tanks tend to look better as designed stand alone units rather than a glass box with nasty stained pine stands & hoods - but thats just my opinion.

i have just got one of these tanks for marines and it is ace iam not using the filter though accept for a big bag of active carbon and phosphate remover. i would imagine it is a good filter for a planted tank.
