i'm about to upgrade to a Juwel Rio 240 (121 x 41 x 55cm) and according to the fish shop website the particular model i'm getting has a bioflow 3.0 filter with a 600 pump.

now, on aqadvisor it doesn't have this spec on the dropdown menu, the closest thing is the bioflow 3.0 +400 pump but that only gives an output of 70 litres

do you think the specs on the fish shop website is a misprint or could the pump actually give the extra filtration needed?or would i be better off buying a replacement/addional filter
anybody have any experience with the Rio 240

thanks,

tbh i havnt had any experience with that tank or filter but from what i see i would take out the filter and get an external canister filter they are far easier and better to maintain and if my memory serves me right will give you more room in the tank for fish decor plants what ever :D, i think the tnak has a black box in the corner right where the filter is? you can take that out and just put pipes in through the top for the canister :D thats what i would do :)

I have the juwel 240 and i removed the filter its a killer it sucked up a danio damaging its tail and killed my fighter and sucked a couple of others i tried my best to stop fish getting in but could never stop it so i got an external after that no probs.
