Hi all

have upgraded to a 300L tank ((122(l)*56(h)*44(w)), the fish moved into this are a RTBS, 2 Marble koi angel fish (may have to split them up as they've start fighting) , 6 corys, and a common plec.

So trying to think of some further fish to add, anyone any suggestions.

thanks

If you're going to add more fish, it might be worth rethinking the common plec, as he'll get too big for your tank anyway. If you want to keep him, you wont be able to add as many new fish because of the amount of waste a plec makes, and you'd have to rehome him when he was fully grown anyway. ;)

A bristlenose would be just the right size for your tank if you do decide to rehome the common - and IMO they tend to clean up more than the commons do ;)

Hot diggity dog! Big tank. OK, Some midwater schooling fish - a couple 3 to 6 rainbows or 6 to 10 Dwarf neon rainbows or a school of Diamond or Emperor Tetras. Maybe some platies to give the Angels some Fry to munch on. Festivums are underrated and cool if you can find them. May or may not work with angels - YMMV. For the top of the tank, you could go with a school of hatchetfish. ABF would be cool, but RTBS are notorious fin nippers as they age. Cherry barbs are cool, attractive, active, relatively peaceful, pretty able to take care of themselves, fairly inexpensive, and do not require a large group (you can go with pair as easily as a dozen). For hair algae, you can't beat SAEs, but you can come close with ether American-flag fish or Swordtails.
