Hey all like to say thanks to every one here who read and posted to my earlyer posts all sugestions helped greatly but alas it seems that ths sucessful rearing of my ram fry has turned for the worst and I have only 12 left but have learnd much from my first go at it and am better prepared for the next time just really suks @#$% next time wont be in a planted tank just sponge filter and fish believ better survival chances that way Sincerely Curtis

Hey congrats! 12 is nothing to bat an eyelash at....mine have only spawned once, and I have no fry to show for it (the eggs were eaten on day 2).

beleive it or not, my cons have spawned 3 times, and still no fry to show for it, they all die, or get eaten

now i have two breedin pairs, and i think this new pair is doing better, they just laid eggs yesterday nite
