Well, A few weeks on from the issues I saw shes still going, However missing scales on her body. Still always overweight/fat, Red gills/Bloody look. No signs of rapid breathing, Still eating and seems fine/acting normal.

I just can't put my finger on it but it is slowly getting worse and more scales fall off every so often. What should I do? I'd rather not have her pass it on to other fish and I don't have a QT tank.

Does she show signs of flicking and rubbing?
Does she dart around the tank.
Any signs of red pin pricks marks on body, fins?
Any excess slime on body, or fins?
Does she swim in a jerky movement.?
Any white edging around scales?
Has her colour changed. Like a greyish film, or greyish blue film?
When you say overweight do you mean bloated?
Check her anus to see if it's enlarged or red and inflamed.

Sorry for all the questions trying to find out if it's parasites, or bacterial.

Can you post water stats please.

Sorry forgot to ask in previous post. Are scales sticking out also.

Nope

She will dart to the surface for air, Normally going half out of the water. Only rarely though.

I did see a red dot/open wound on her body, Unsure what it was. Around a tiny pin prick.

Nope

Swimming normal like the day I got her.

Nope

Where she has lost scales its pale/white. Apart from that she still has her yellow colour and black stripes.

Yes sorry, Been like this for awhile.

I would not say so.

Ammonia - 0 Nitrites-  0 Nitrates - 40

As for scales, I honestly dont see them poking out unless am blind.

Doesn't sound like a parasite involved by your answers so I would take the bacterial route.
Double dose anti internal bacteria medication by interpet. It shouldn't affect your water stats.
If you have inverts in the tank I would remove them to be on the safe side.
Increase aeration. Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.

Good Luck

Quick photo to help.

You can see in the photo that her gills are insanely red?

Sorry techen had to shoot off last night as was going out.
Pics can sometimes be deceiving but she does not look to bad in the pic.
How is she today?

Everyday is the same. Eats, swims finr, acts normal just so overweight compared to the male.

I would try the internal bacteria medication.
Just feed some veg for a few days. Also some daphnia if you have it.

I agree with Wilder : Gouramis often bloat cause of a diet-problem. They often are fed protein over a long period of time and lack vegs. Try some blanched lettuce, spinach, peas aso !!!
BTW : Though it's the same species these are gold "Gold(en) Gourami" to me.
