hello everyone, just thought id give you an update on my betta spawns,

i had a lot of eggs, and now i have a lot of little wrigglers. lots. and lots. and lots haha :good:
theres about 75 in the nest just chillin, ( :) ) 30 zooming around uncontrollably (which is very fun to watch,) :hyper: and about 30 waiting to be picked up by dad (which is a constant job for him) and a very flustered dad.

quick question, should i start the infusoria now or wait another day? i dont have access to microworms unfortunatly, unless anyone in the denver area has a culture for sale :shifty:

and finally, i had a male pictis betta release about 12 healthy fry, and ive been feeding them brine shrimp.

pics to follow.

it would be best to obtain baby brine shrimp eggs and hatch them quickly, your pictis are gunna need to be fed since they have been released, if you have any plants in the tank then your almost 100% that you have a natural source of infusoria anyway but you will need the baby brine shrimps very soon :good: i dont recommend microworms now as they can lead to growth problems in fins and ventrals ive heard from a top breeder

right on, i had some forzen, and they ate it, but now ive got my shrimp hatchery going. ill put some pictures up later today,

thanks for the tip about the microworms!
