Sadly one did not make it through the night. The other actually seems to be doing better but I have noticed on his one "feeler" he has what looks like a little ball of cotton on it. I'm assuming this is a fungus. What meds should I use to fix it? I really don't want to lose both of them.

What bacterial med are you using.
You can add pimafix with bacterial meds.

I am not using any meds right now. Yesterday when I noticed the "fuzz" I put in my carbon to remove all meds from my tank so I switch meds if needed. I know that I can get the Maracyn and Maracyn 2 fairly quickly. Pimafix I would have to order as I don't recall seeing it at my lfs.

Ok.
I would use maracyn one and two then. Forget about the pimafix.

Thanks Wilder.

I'll head to the LFS first thing in the morming.

Stick to the same thread or it's get confusing.
I wouldn't treat until the whitespot has been gotten rid of first.
If whitespot med says not to use other meds I wouldn't.
You will need to treat after the whitespot has gone, med been removed from tank.

Sorry about starting a new thread. I was thinking new issue... my brain has stopped functioning over this whole thing.

The biggest problem is now I'm not so sure it's whitespot. I've gone through two rounds of the meds and nothing. It's still there and seems to be getting worse. I'm not sure my gourami is going to last through another round of the ich meds.

Are the spots the size of a grain of salt or bigger.
Any redness to the spots.

I pic might help.

maybe a little bigger than salt and very definitely a bright white. Definitely more towards the edges of the fins on the angels and the tetra. One swordtail seems to have a discolored spot in the center of its tailfin. No redness to any of the spots.

scissor tails, guppies, dojos, platy, pleco, everthing seems fine with them. No strange behavior or spots.

Gourami totally different story. He has raised spots on his body and I'm pretty sure it's not his scales popping out. It looks like his "feelers" are disintagrating and the one feeler looks like it has two spots of fuzz on it. The other feeler is almost completely gone.

My camera does not work well enough to get a clear picture unfortunately.

Are they flicking and rubbing.

You could add some pimafix in with the whitespot med. That treats fungus and bacteria.

He now seems to be suffering from finrot :-(

Not sure how clear these are. The one pic you can see his feeler looks fuzzy and is disintagrating. The other. all those little spots? When he turns in the light they make his skin look really rough like the spots are sticking out. Whenever I've had ich I've never seen noticable bumps. Just spots. I'm pretty sure it is not his scales sticking out even though he does float tail down head up in the water alot. I hope this helps.

Looks like whitepot to me.
Also the spots can look slightly raised, and fluffy looking.
Poor thing they will be irratating him.
Finrot common on top of whitespot.
