update, and my pooor gourami

hello its been a while since i have posted anything on here, everything is doing pretty well...my water is finally clear! but i took all the ornaments out of my tank, cleaned them really really good, bt i only put like 2 back in, just do they have sumwhere to hangoutand hide...is that ok? or shold i have more in there? i have a couple rocks leaning on eachother so it looks like a cave, and another rocks thing...so any ways...remember a while back, i was asking about my sick gourami?? well im pretty sure he is better, he has no sores on him ne more, and he is breathing normally, i still have in in a seperate tank though because he doesnt swim...he just lays at the bottom...i think that his fins got picked a bit when he was sick and still in the big tank, but its hard to tell necause they dont have HUGE fins anyways, and he always had them tucked tight to his body...i know he has some, but they are smaller then my other ones...does anyone know why he wont swim? do his smaller fins have something to do with it? will they grow back? what shoulc i do for him??

Sitting at the bottom isn't generaly a good sign... I would suggest feeding a shelled pea in case he has problems with his swim bladder. He may also still be sick. Does he not come up to breathe or move to eat?

i think u you someone suggested to feed him a shelled pea, i tried it, and he wont touch it...he comes to the surface occasionally, to get air and food, but i rarely see him move, but when i check on him he is usually in a different spot in the tank...another thing though, is that when he does go to the surface, his back end is always down...its like he has a weight stuck on his tail and it takes sooo much energy to lift it...

Have you tried mushing up the shelled pea to feed and fasting him for a day or two before doing so? It might help. Try adding a little aquarium salt to his water and a little melafix may help him somewhat though I can't say what's wrong...
