Unusual Community/slightly Aggressive Fish!

Its understanable, next time i can i shall get proper test kits to test the water.

Also i apolagise if im not seeing this but how is this an emergency? Its not as if any of my fish have been dying since the new set up and none of them appear to be stressed or showing aggression towards each other, although to what your saying that could change in the future with the kribs.

What else is in your larger tank? Is there any way to rehome some of the fish that are in your smaller tank to the larger one, to make room to perfect your shoals?

The larger tank is very well planted and i did use to test it quite often with test kits, but now i tend to let it sort itself out which it does no problem, there are currently very few fish in that one.

You might not see it as an emergency now, but it will be, hence trying to sort it now.

I have a group of cories in the 4ft, and am planing on getting a gorup of Kris to breed, so the Corys (only 7 of them, upping this to 12) are going to a new tank upstairs with a few shrimp to entertain them.

Kribs have been observed to co-exist with Corys with no problems, even eating face to face, same food, faces almost touching, no issue. Its when they start breeding there are problems.

The female will lay eggs in any caves or cover you have, and the Female flips upside down and fans them until they hatch. She will also be fiercely aggressive, chasing off anything that gets to close.

While entertaining and fairly intelligent, Corys are nosy and will happily wander into the nests of Kribs, and sure you can imagine what comes next....

I see, shows that i truley am living up to my forum status as newbie here, haha, i will get these problems sorted and report back once i have made the changes.
