Unsure What To Do Lighting Wise?

I have a Juwel rio tank with t8 lighting that im currently using as a tropical tank. im in the process of gathering all of the things i need to convert it to marine. After much pondering iv decided to keep the t8 unit and fit a hagen glo 2x24w t5 unit so that the tubes sit beside the t8's. (ill need to make some brackets to mount the lights)

the plan is to have the 18w t8's as a nightlight and the the 24w t5's for daylight. does this sound ok or would you do otherwise? also what kind of tubes would i need to fit? iv found this site where the tubes seem very cheap compared to elsewhere but iv got no idea which ones to buy. any help greatly appreciated.

id have the T5s as all whites i think. then useeither one or both the T8s as a blue actinic
