Hello! I bought a few amano shrimp recently, and with them came a tiny little fry. I had gotten a fry tank that goes into my tank to try and let the little thing survive, and have been taking care of it (I am a very inexperienced in fry) but I have no idea what it is! So far it has a longer body, with a half moon tail fin, and the body is still clear, so I am at a loss to what is could be. Any ideas?

Guppy :p I don't know - do you have pics? What are you feeding it? If it is very small it may require something like microworms or at least BBS.

how big is it? it sounds like my guppy fry, but these are my first and only ones, so i am no expert! :dunno:

There are no guppies at the lfs. That is what confused me, as I thought it might have been a guppy fry as well. No, sorry, I don;t have pics and I am feeding it Hikari first bites and little bits of bloodworms, which it is going right after.

It may be some other kind of livebearer maybe? Platy, swordtail, molly, mosquito fish, limia... Or possibly some kind of larger cyprinid fry (as in older)?
