Unknown Algae Spreading Like Mad Please Help!

I have some Fungus or algae on the tree which looks like faint white cotton wool:

And this are spreading fast on all my plants looks like a steam and some tenticles at the end if looked at closley:

Any helps appriciated.

Has the wood just been added to the tank recently.
Get a toothbrush and twist the cotton wool stuff off.
Or you will have to remove the wood and scrub it in hot salty water.
Rinse well and let dry out for aday.
