Having got used to telling the children that we have fewer fish than the night before
, on Boxing day I was able to tell them that we actually had MORE than the day before.
I know Platys give birth every 5 minutes, but these are our first babies, and we are thrilled with them. There are 5 in total, each now about !cm long. They are venturing out of the undergrowth now, and don't seem to be getting bothered by the other fish. I'm presuming there were probably rather more than this originally (
), but we have only ever seen the 5.
