Okay, so I've been reading a few threads around here (most notably George's CO[sub]2[/sub] thread) and I'm left with one major question: Is there a ratio of light to CO[sub]2[/sub] or something, and what is the significance of it?

If I understand this correctly... The more light you have (read: WPG), the more CO[sub]2[/sub] you need?

If someone could clear this up, that would be awesome! 8)

With CO2 injection we generally aim for 30ppm CO2. Stable CO2 is also desired to help prevent algae.

CO2 injection is essential in higher lighting set ups as the plant growth will quickly strip any CO2 present. If this CO2 isn't supplemented then the plants starve, stop growing and algae takes hold.

Does that help?
