I hate the clear...."but not really clear" uplift tubes.....can you get black ones?
that would blend in much better, the clear one just stick out like a sore thumb.

goto your local home depot or store like that and get black pvc pipe in the correct diameter for your ugf.

just rinse it really well before inserting it

I was thinking about this after I posted last night, and I remembered purchasing a plastic sleeve??thingy to fit over my shower curtain rod to change the color of it, or really to give it a facelift....
it is about the same size.....and you can get it in many colors...even black.
I wonder if the plastic it is made out of would be safe for the aquarium?

I do also like the PVC idea....would have never thought of that!
