I've been trying not to feed my fish to much, so aiming at once per day an amount that is totally consumed in between 2-5 minutes. Only problem is, they are doing a good job of munching away at my plants!

Does this mean I should be a bit more generous with the food?

Thanks,

Mark

Mabe do 2 feeds one in the mornin an one a night?

What kind of fish do you have, and how many? I say feed twice. I feed mine two times a day. One, when I get up in the morining. Two, after I finish MY dinner.

Out of Blue: I just want to know something that doesn't even pertain to fish, is everyone on this forum from the UK? I see that I'm the only one that's in the USA.

There are often comments from the States, you're not in your own!

I have 6 Angels, 5 Swordtails, 8 Harlequins, 2 Rams, 2 Kribensis, 2 Gourami, 1 Dwarf Gourami, 4 Kuhli Loaches, 5 Glowlight Tetras, 6 Cardinal Tetras, 5 Glass Cats, 2 algea eaters. 225l tank (VERY well filtered and well planted so although over the "inch per gallon" rule is OK stocked, although that does depend on who you ask!).

There are many fish that will eat, rip up, and destroy plants just for the hell of it, like pretty much every fish that isn't a bottom feeder in my 75 gallon tank, regardless of how much they eat.

however, I've never heard of the fish mentioned in your tank being much of plant shredders.

You're not the only one. USA! :good: I only feed once a day. My fish pick at the plants, but don't eat them. When I had a Bristlenose he would eat through leaves.

Woohoo!!!! Dallas TX, I'm from Phoenix!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should feed them twice a day. A minimum amount. That way, you don't have to worry about them starving or going to die of because they are eating too much.

Hi!
Once I defeat the algae I'll consider twice a day.
