Hi . This is the top of my tank . How much of the surface should be covered with floating plants ? Any advice welcome please

In the shaded part you can grow a whole range of low light plants and they will do just fine

The lower plants are anubias, java fern, bolbitis, bucephalandra - all slow growing, low light plants which seem to thrive. Slowly.
