Uncommon Fish Keeping Tools

This one's probably too obvious to mention, but I always keep a supply of clear plastic disposable cups handy and have an amazing number of uses for them - everything from scooping out an 'ooops' spill of too much fsh food into a tank to someplace to temporarily put excess baby pond snails when picking them out of one tank to ultimately go in with a fish that thinks they're snack food.
(Boy, I'm mean...)

I've used them as 'travel cups' for fish being transferred in and out of various tanks, temporarily kept bits of plants alive in them, in times of disaster I've kept the bodies of fish in them until I can be assured that they are certainly dead and not likely to suffer a horrible awakening in the garbage.

its not to obvious it probably just slipped most of our minds. i know i use a plastic cup it actually is my bettas original tank i use it to scoop baby fry out of the net when its time to clean there net. the cup is a valuable fish keeping tool and should be mentioned and honored for its multiple uses to us as fish keepers. thank you for mentioning it!

Plastic cups are what I use to disolve frozen foods such a bloodworms, daphnia, etc. Just dip out some tank water, plop in a cube or 2, stir a little and it's ready to pour in the tank.
