Unable To Post On Most Forums

Hi,

I am still unable to post on most forums. Is this because I am new? Can anyone help me with this? I read something about how this happens sometimes and to email someone about it, which I did, but I never got a response and I still cannot post on most other forums. Thanks.

have you been clicking on the validation link in the emails the forum sends you when you sign up ?

Without using the validation link provided in an e-mail. I think you are pretty much limited to the introduction section of the forum and this section. The idea is all about security. We get spammers just like any other on-line location but the computer controlled spam-bots cannot deal with clicking a link in an e-mail yet. Some day we will surely need a new approach to keep these vermin from using the forum for their own purposes. For now it works fairly well though. We often see no more than one or two spammers per day.

I got one email and yes I did click on the link. What do I need to do, re-register?

hi, go back to the email you sent and try clicking the link again, as you can see on the left hand side of your posts your group is "validating" and not yet "members" which generally means the correct joining link hasn't been visited.

I re-registered with another email address, clicked on the link, still did not work. I then copied and pasted the code that was sent in the email in case clicking on the link did not work, and it said registration info not found. So I guess I need to talk to Tolak. I really would like to be part of the group.
