I got a female Platy and female Swordtail a few days ago, the Platy swimming around at the front of the tank ever since she got in, the Swordtail hiding as much as possible. (which I would understand)After that, my male Swordtail, who has been harassed by my male Platy so much that he wouldn't come out for months, finally came out! But he didn't go out for the female Swordtail..... He went for the Platy... And then my male Platy started staying with my female Swordtail instead! This behavior hasn't changed, and is starting to creep me out Can I please know what is happening?

Swordtails and platies can cross, if they do, prepare for hybrids lol.

Swordtails and platies can cross, if they do, prepare for hybrids lol.

that can happen but normally that behavior can change as you introduced more fish in to your tank.
