Um-Boo-Na

trouble with synos and cheap is if you get a small group . like me i want a trio/small group of synodontis multiplunctatus. lovely fish , not really shopped around for em much , but wildwoods want £32 each , then postage on top youre looking at ove a hundred quid for 3 catfish

im sure ive seen one species for only £5 each, the most expensive were £15 and in a tang tank i think they were the ones covered in black spots.

yep good ol prestwood, got a great selection of catfish http://www.prestwoodpetzone.com/cat-fish-stock-list.html#MiscCatFish

hmmm, whilst googling to see if upside down catfish are compatible with mbuna i read someone warning not to keep the mbuna i have in my size tank because its too small :( really hope i dont have to upgrade

Personally, I would only have kept the smaller species in there, but it could work in yours long term. Just depends on how they all get on and how big yours grow. You could find one wants the whole tank to itself, then trouble starts... or they might all live happily ever after. You never know with these little fellas

The Red Zebs are the most likley to kick off though imo.
