thats not really 20 gallons, the water level is so low. You really need to fill that up. And why is the net in there?

Why would you post that? :/ But then why would you think it's ok to dye fish? :grr:

That tank is horrible and is not what fishkeeping is all about. It need topped up, rearranged and cleaned. What's with the net? Are you trying to kill your fish?

I feel sorry for whatever poor creature/s is/are in there.

I certainly would not be Laughing My Ass Off

I's really an ok tank...once you get the net out....do a water change and just look after it. It'll be what you put into it.

man i've had worse...check mines out

That looks equally disgusting. You sound like you are proud to have horrid dirty tanks.

Just imagine having to live in a swimming pool full of your own urine and S*** and thats what it probably feels like to the fish.

If you are posting on these boards it would indicate you are interested in fish but judging by the couple of posts in this thread you obviously BOTH dont.

Ben

The second tank looks clean to me... That funny chinese ornament thing isnt quite to my taste though!lol And the first one could be really nice with a clean and taking the net out! :) Dont be so negative!!!! Besides, algae is actually quite good for a tank i believe...

jess

Everything is covered in algae and god knows what else. Yes a bit of algae is good for the tank, as it uses up excess nitrates, but that much is excessive and un necessary, and above all else horrible to look at and nothing to be proud of!

Ben

I quite like green algae. I have a shell in my 10 gal and i let a bit of algae build up on that cos it looks nice :)

As long as the fish are healthy and looked after, which im sure they are, i dont see what the problem is! That net needs to be removed though!!!

Are there actually fish in the first picture?

I think the second picture is fine! Point out the algae to me!! :p

Jess

lmao some of you people are hilarious..

the only algea in the tank is on the skull.. i cant get it off..

the parameters are perfect..

the nets in there cause the convicts in there were breeding and decided to breed right under where the net is now.. i had a firemouth in there too, and he kept swimming right above the eggs and was getting attacked.. so i put the net there so he wouldnt go near it..

anyways its being cleaned out right when im done posting here..

hopefully everyone wont spaz at the new one..

and what does my ugly tank have to do with dying fish?

oh and yea im not interested in fish.. i only have 7 tanks and loads of betta containers.. funny how people judge others because of 1 small thing..

believe me.. its not like theyre swimming in their own crap..

hopefully once im done re arranging it ppl will stop complaining that i dont care about my fish. it seems thats all it takes to make ppl think i dont.. 1 UGLY FISH TANK

I was actually commenting on the algae in eSUng15's tank.

Your tank could look quite good if the water was up to level. And how were we meant to know you left the net in there on purpose!

Ben.

I think we should lay of bashing tank's with algae to be honest, it is a pretty hard thing to control when you are trying to keep live plants, its all about keeping the balance and that balance is pretty hard to establish and maintain. Algae does no harm in the aquarium at all apart from looking slightly unsightly. ;)

i really dont care that much.. anyways.. im done the tank im going to take pics of it and couple of my bettas now... the tank does look a lot better..

i even managed to get the algea off of george the green skull..

ill be back in about 15 mins will the pics
