Ug Filter

Hello all,
I have a snapping turtle and I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use an under gravel filter with little water in the aquarium. Since my turtle has to be able to put his head out of the water to breathe.

Wrong section, but I'll try to answer. In theory an under gravel filter will do the job, but you will have to cut the lift tubes down to the water level. It would be easier to use a small internal filter.
