Well that's the third rummy nose to get caught behind my fluval u3.time to do something.i should of done it after the first.either I will use filter floss to stuff behind bracket or a new filter is in order.stupid design.

The problem with any bit of kit that stands against the sides is the massive variety of fish sizes, slightly larger gaps and the rummies would escape fine, but something else would get trapped. Floss is a good idea, I've found that it algaes up a fair bit though, some coarse foam cut to shape/size works well as well.

Ok.cheers.i will find something

My spare U2 filter sponge will do nicely.wish I used it beforehand.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing :/

I have a Fluval U2 and never had any fish trapped behind the filter, though not sure if the U3 has a bigger gap or not. Good idea to put some sponge media or filter floss to fill the gap to stop fish swimming behind the filter. Shrimps would like that

Works a treat Charlie.as you know yourself.always learning.
