two questions

Yo, I want to ask 2 questions about my aquarium.

First of all, will siamese fighting fish get along with goldfish in my Aquarium?

Second, one of my fishes eyes are huge and puffed up. The eye is quadrupel its origional size and is halfway out of the socket. Can I fix this? It has been this way for some time but I just found this forum 10 minutes ago.

Answering your first question, no! definitely not, the name gives it away.Answering your second question ,i'm sorry but I can't answer that one, but

Sounds like the fish has popeye. They can get this from a scratch on rocks or fighting with other fish. If it's minor it could go away on it's own but meds are usually called for, especially if it's major.

If the other fish are leaving him alone, I would keep him in the tank for fear of netting could make it worse. Try some Maracyn or Maracyn-Two if it's available to you or look for a med that your lfs has that can cure popeye.

gourami guy is right - not only will a siamese fighting fish probably attack the goldfish (goldfish could be seen as betta shaped...), goldfish are coldwater, bettas are freshwater (even though lots of people keep bettas without heaters, but then it just gets confusing)

Yo, I have two other goldfish that are in my tank. If I put pop eye medication in the water, will it harm the other fish that don't have pop eye? 8)
