Two Questions

Just two random questions that have left me wandering lately!

1. Do all dead fish float to the surface?
2. Do all fish get stunted growth if put into a tank to small for them?

1.no not all dead float to the surface, most of the ones I have seen are sunk to the bottom.

2. I suppose so, there has been speculation to that though. I am not entirely sure.

As above:
1. all my dead fish (not had too many) have sunk to the bottom - not seen a 'floater' yet
2. I'm too new to fishkeeping to comment on this but everything I have heard has been along those lines

1. Not usually.

2. No, depends on various factors, including (I think) species. Also factors like feeding and water quality. We had someone mention in a thread only the other day some monster catfish (?) who had clearly not been stunted though it had been kept in far too small a tank, and I have seen catfish who appear to have grown deformed due to lack of space. Some fish, of course, simply die.
