Where in the UK are you? Some of my LFS sell them - Maidenhead Aquatics in St Albans, Allpets in Stanmore, Wildwoods in Crews Hill. I pay £1 for 20 - sizes seem to vary from small to large. I normally buy 100 at a time and keep them in the garage in a filtered 50l brackish tank. I used to keep them in a 15l filtered tank in the house but they often died suddenly - someone said that they don't like the heat but it could also be overload on the filter. Since I got the new tank in the garage with a fluval 3 plus they have never died.
