Tunze Nano Pumps

Hi y'all,

More technical questions for my fellow salty dudes and dudettes... This time the questionable piece of kit in my tank is my surface skimmer - or "Nano Cleaner 3165" as Tunze call it. Pump seems to have packed up, in that it doesn't pump at all. I dismantled the unit, took the pump out, changed the fuse, tried pumping - nothing doing. I've taken off the impellor housing cover, removed and cleaned the impellor, still nothing happening.

Any ideas? Can I dismantle or further service the pump, or is it LFS-time on Monday?

Sounds like the motor itself is gone. It's an unusual fault with Tunze gear, but unfortunately, it's LFS time on Monday

Sure it's not calcium deposits somewhere? Might be worth a good long Vinegar soak just in case...
