i sware this is the last betta i get, at this point the fish own more of my bed room then i do.

Sailornight6, kudos to you for adopting and loving a fish that you didn't think was pretty.
You can probably expect some degree of colour change/improvement, as you probably know, and when your loving care has made him healthy, he'll likely be hard to recognise.
Anyway, anything you love is beautiful, whether it is or not.
And I think he'll be a real little beauty before long, if it matters.
Looking at the gleams of irridescence that show even in the pics, and at a time when he's not at his best...

On the other hand, I have what I think is a combtail with a peculiar clash of orangy-yellowy background and a growing green iridescence that honestly looks dreadful in some lights, so I give him compliments on his flowing fins and he's happy.
And I still think he's gorgeous.

i think he is going to surprise me.
as for the name i always name them the first thing that comes to my head. i thought of black friday, thus named him friday. lol its best not to try and figure out my brain it scares even me at times.

Awwww he's lovely.....almost edible with those lovely chocolate fins (just don't tell him I said that)
